Among equally qualified applicants, women will receive preferential consideration.
This means: Female candidates who are equally well suited to the desired position as the most suitable male competitor must be given priority. This shall remain the case until the proportion of women among the total number of permanent university employees within the respective categories – stipulated by the employment law – stands at no less than 50%.
People with disabilities or chronic illnesses who meet the required qualification criteria are expressly encouraged to apply.
The University of Klagenfurt will not reimburse applicants’ travel and lodging expenses incurred as part of the selection and/or hiring process.
