Ihre Aufgaben – das erwartet Sie

  • Independent research with the aim of writing a dissertation in the field of science and technology studies (STS) with a possible focus on sustainability and social-ecological justice, science as culture and practice, knowledge and democracy, infrastructures
  • Independent teaching at Bachelor’s and Master’s level
  • Publishing academic articles and presenting at national and international conferences
  • Collaboration in organisational tasks of the department
  • Participation in public relations activities of the department and the faculty

Was Sie mitbringen

  • Completed Master's or Diploma degree in a social science subject (e.g., science and technology studies, sociology, political science) at a domestic or foreign university, completed with at least good grades in social science subjects
  • Proven knowledge of social science research methods
  • Proven knowledge of social science theories and subject areas, especially science and technology studies
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
